Meet the Team


Terry Melkus, Managing Principal

Using both of her passions, education and business, Terry Melkus started her consulting business in 2007 to help others take a systematic approach to training and developing employees.  She successfully grows their business while keeping the focus on customer and employee satisfaction. 

Terry’s dream to teach others came to fruition as she climbed the corporate ladder twelve years ago and became a trainer, instructional developer, manager, and a director with a Fortune 500 company.  Today, as an entrepreneur, Terry uses customized training programs, professional development programs, customer satisfaction programs, and employee satisfaction programs to empower others to be the best they can be.  Contact Terry at terry@addiesolutions.com.
 

 



Mark Johnson, Managing Principal     


Mark JohnsonFrom the days in Middle School when Mark purchased bags of blow-pops so he could individually resell them to other kids in school, he has always wanted to own and operate his own business.  After high school, Mark enlisted in the United States Navy where he discovered the need and importance of high-caliber training programs, documented processes, and clear and concise communication.

Mark then went to work in the private sector and continued his profession in the Training and Development field for numerous years, and then moved onto a career with Training and Development in the call center industry.   Mark quickly grew to love the call center world because of the fast-paced, always-changing environment that requires top-notch training resources, accurate and consistent communication, numbers management, and leadership skills to be successful.

Mark’s vision in Middle School to become an entrepreneur became a reality in January 2007 when he partnered with long-time business associate, Terry Melkus, and established ADDIE Solutions, LLC.

Cindy Scarborough, PHR - Instructional Developer


Cindy’s commitment to helping others help themselves is the driving force behind her enthusiasm.  Her years of experience as an Instructional Developer combined with the knowledge and skills she developed as a Human Resources Generalist bring together two important aspects of every business: the processes and the people.

Cindy earned her Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification and is a Board Member for the Tri County Human Resource Management Association (TCHRMA).  Her goal is to help businesses outperform the competition by focusing on their most important assets, their employees.

F R Butch Howard - Principal Consultant
 

F. R. "Butch" HowardMr. Howard was born in Macon, Georgia and currently resides in Charleston. He is a graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Industrial Engineering. He also has an Executive MBA from the University of Georgia.

Mr. Howard worked with Georgia Power Company for 38 years. With Georgia Power, he worked in both corporate and in field offices in Transmission and Distribution. His technical work included engineering, construction, operation and maintenance of power lines. His other duties included management of employee development and training, computer systems, emergency preparedness, workforce development programs, corporate performance goal setting, down-sizing, reorganizations, succession planning, performance management, project management and employee hiring and promotion processes. Mr. Howard also taught a number of courses at Georgia Power.

Mr. Howard now works with ADDIE Solutions to provide businesses with complete line of Human Resources Consulting and Training.  He specializes in business consulting including coaching in management, supervision, leadership and personal effectiveness, process improvement, employee selection and emergency preparedness. His training workshops include Teamwork, Leadership, Personal DISCernment Inventory, Communications, Time Management, Emergency Preparedness and Conflict Resolution. He is a certified DISC instructor.
