DISC: The Personal DISCernment®
Inventory
Have you ever wondered why certain
people appear to be leaders, while others are more content in a role out of the
limelight? Each role may be critical in the business, but how do you
motivate, recognize, or even avoid conflict among the different temperaments?
The DISC Personal Profile System is an indicator of HOW a person behaves or will
behave.
The DISC Personal Profile System - Helps employees explore the four
primary dimensions; Dominance, Influence, Steadiness, and Conscientiousness. Increase personal effectiveness and relationships by understanding how to
adapt personal behavior patterns to particular situations and create more
productive relationships with others.
Once you complete the DISC Profile,
find out how your temperament and those of others affect the way you react
in the following situations:
Leading
with Style:
Our behavioral traits are not only
a major influence on our leadership style, but also provide the template through
which we view the leadership of others. When we are led by those with different
behavioral styles from our own, we have a tendency to feel over led.
After discovering your unique
temperament through the Personal DISCernment® Inventory, you will better
understand differences which will not only help you to better serve those you
lead, but also help you to better respond to the leadership of others.
Leadership is a
highly complex subject. To understand how you lead, we first take time to
understand what leaders do. We look at four main roles of leadership and how
your behavioral style affects the way you specifically perform in these roles.
